(playing heroic) there's a checkpoint as you near the cryo-room door. as I get out of the cryo-room.. I strafe-jump over the pipes before he gets to the door which blows up... then I run, run and run... don't bother dodging any bullets.. one checkpoint and one loading... come to where you jump over the marine. jump.. and continue running.. for some reason I *always* run on the left side of the bridge as I get to it. there's a checkpoint just before the sequence. sequence.. keep hitting A... 'i don't keep it loaded' comes up.. I keep hitting A just cause I want to.. probably doesn't do anything.. then I strafe out on the *right* side.. in effect doing a U turn around the bridge. ;) (I just checked it.. doesn't matter if you go on the right or the left). as you walk out.. no aliens.. and you don't get the gun. also.. once you've picked up two weapons.. you never see the gun (re-)loading.. it's just suddenly *there*.. you have to switch over to it.. hopefully these things *might* give you a slighly better hint.. I'll have to get to work with the video. oh.. right.. erm... I'm playing the european version.. (I lives in sweden). keep safe, - reckless.
