: -Matt That is a great shame... Mainly because alot(Not the majority yet, but its getting there) of PAL gamers will be running PAL 60, and Halo's PAL 60hz mode is clearly not working right (Not just for networking, its much much choppier than when running in 50hz or when I compare it to my NTSC copy which should be identicle since they are both 60hz, one is just using the PAL Colour depth..) I've talked to many people allready who think Halo is far worse framerate wise than it actualy is purely because they are running in 60hz, I tell them to run it in 50hz and it is alot better but it is a pain to switch modes constantly depending on which game you want to play (Jet Set Radio Future for example is much better in 60hz since it was not optimised for 50hz and runs 17% slower roughly) and it doesnt give a good impression of Halo at all... Did you guys actualy implement a 60hz option? It seems to me that you went all out optimising 50hz and so the XBox gets very confused and cant cope when you try and run it in 60hz... Well, thats my theory anyway. I know a recall/replacement is out of the question, but its a nice pipe dream of mine :P | |
