Whose Line Is It Anyways returns this summer! *OT* | |

Coming this summer, 10 new episodes of the American version of "Whose Line Is It Anyways?" will return to a new home on The CW (Having previously been an ABC production). Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles, and Wayne Brady all return as part of the main cast, while there will be a special guest every episode for the improv show. Unfortunately Drew Carey will not be hosting this new season probably due to commitments with The Price Is Right, but there is potential there to be one of the special guests. Instead comedian Aisha Tyler (Who you might know as the woman who introduced us to the Reach Multiplayer Beta and played one of the marines in Reach), most notable for her role as Lana Kane on FX's comedy spy cartoon Archer will instead be taking the hosting duties. I'm actually excited, they've been attempting to do similar programs after Whose Line originally was cancelled and they always fell through. "Drew Carey's Green Screen Show", "Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza", and the recent "Trust Us With Your Life" were similar, but in the end never got it quite right like the original US version did. That said, hopefully with the official show back this can come back even stronger, but I'm cautiously optimistic, especially since it's on The CW. Thoughts? Source: "'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' Being Revived by The CW"
