Makes me wonder if any of the map-creation tools have a feature that tests map accessibility, like pouring water in and reporting any 'leaks'. Are there any points given specific region 'size' that can access (or perhaps even just see) the boundless exterior of a map box?
The algorithm could accept a padding amount as well, just for good measure. Ignore visual geometry and only analyze collision detection of the test asset with static geometry.
It certainly wouldn't be a simple feature to have, and could take a long time to run to analyze a full map, but my word would it be useful in patching these geometry 'glitches' and/or oversights... =/
