Legacy Effects did the FUD suit but they also did Iron man, GI Joe, and something else that I didn't recognize. They explained that the game designs were too solid and that parts overlapped when the wearer moves his arms and legs.
Ken Scot did a great job on the Halo 4 suit. He did take this problem into account in his designs.
But he leaves a lot of vital areas exposed around the chest and abdomen. The Iron Man suits, although made from inflexible materials, had parts that could move out of the way and were more segmented. This let them get greater coverage yet maintain flexibility.
343i should take advantage of their experience and use them as consultants to make the next gen of Mjolnir.
