The cost ratios are obviously a factor and I was aware that they may have changed, but my contention would remain regardless of any cost ratio issues. If the Banshee and biped models became so much more complex that it started crippling the ability to actually use them properly (i.e. Banshee with biped inside), then the flaw is in the design. Either they needed to be made less complex or numerous, or something else did, so that pilots could be retained.

Also, H3 still had pilots, so perhaps the better comparison to consider is Reach vs H3, rather than Reach vs H1.

Just on a point of accuracy, did you have some justification for your statement and the one about the Banshee model being exponentially more complex? Did Bungie say something?
