I've absolutely seen a lot of variance in wave numbers; however it's never been something that I thought too much about. I know there have been a few examples of videos posted where a dropship will somehow kill the inhabitants (like dropping them from too high, or off the map). I wonder if this helps to explain the missing combatants.

: Elite scoring bug : Part way through the fight, you permanently stop scoring
: anything for killing Elites.

Can't say I've noticed this. Does it depend on the settings or is this just a universal anomaly that you've observed?
