This check box inflates the file by a factor of FIVE" "Also if you hack the pref file in a text editor, change the 'PDFCompatibility 1' to 'PDFCompatibility 0' and by default PDF compatibility will be unchecked for any new saves" The second quoted guy also states that if the very first save you did had the "PDF compatibility", every save after that will carry it. MUST FIND SOLUTION! ANXIETY IS KILLING ME!!! :P
