Hey, man, you might find lemmings inspirational, but I'd much rather not get thrown under the bus to make way for 'new blood'. Where are you getting the "walking away from Halo" numbers? Reach Multiplayer stats? What about Halo 3 multiplayer? I've noticed something about retooling a franchise to appeal to new blood: It's a fast way to alienate old fans, and it really doesn't result in something worthwhile. Take Legends for example: Somehow, that bridgehead into the Japanese market failed to appear, and the series drove more of my friends away from Halo than it attracted.
