In Response To: Re: I agree with newman. (Archilen) Frankie has already confirmed that that is not the armor that the Chief went into the cryotube with. He has already said that the armor that the Chief went into the cryotube at the end of Halo 3 wearing is NOT the exact same armor that we see him wearing when he gets out in that teaser trailer. That's because between the Legendary end of H3 and the events of the Halo 4 teaser trailer, the Chief was woken up for reasons that they aren't yet willing to share, and changes to his armor were made for reasons that they are not yet willing to share. Don't fret: 343 is not claiming that the Halo 4 teaser armor is the Mark 6 that Chief went into cryo with. It might be the same undersuit for all I know, but not the same green plating components. My guess? Bungie couldn't show realtime damage on the armor in Halo 2 or Halo 3, so in Halo 3 he looks tore up and you're just supposed to know that it's from the stuff that happened in Halo 2, so... Maybe since Halo 3 was the most intense combat that the Chief has been through in the trilogy, by the time the post-credits cutscene happens at the end of Halo 3, his armor has just about had it, and is all kinds of messed up, charred, and spent. They just didn't show it in the cutscene, the same way that they didn't for Halo 2.
