I misremembered somewhat in : thinking he said Marty couldn't be improved upon. He actually said : "There was no point trying to emulate Marty. He's unemulatable." : I think it's understandable that I interpreted it as "Marty's music : can't be topped", which seems to me almost like hero worship-- as : much as I like Marty's music, that doesn't mean we should put it on a : pedestal and never move forward (and I still think that might be what he : meant). I didn't understand why 343i (headed by Frankie) would replace : something if they thought it was so awesome and knew a lot of us did too. That post was in response to questions and comments about Halo 4, not H:CEA. For H4 they are going to move forward with a slightly different style than Bungie, and that includes music. For H:CEA they are using the same music, it's just fully orchestral instead of synth. Other than that change, it appears to be the exact same songs in the exact same places as the original Halo. I'm not sure what the best thing to call that is, but I wouldn't really call it replacing.
