And from the fidelity standpoint, : you seem to be taking the stance that Halo 1's sounds have problematically : low fidelity, which many people don't agree with. I'm not saying the original sounds were "problematically" low fidelity, just that they were low fidelity compared to what can be done on today's hardware. So if you revamped the graphics and gameplay - why leave the original sounds? And I do understand that some people enjoy the style of the original sounds, myself included. I played the SHIT out of the original game on Xbox and it is truly the top of the pile of games that I can look back on and fondly remember from my childhood. But nobody has heard the new sounds aside from a soundbite here and there that may not even be representative of the final product. How can one pass judgement and already say they prefer the original when we've not even heard or seen the actual finished game yet - just a few teases here and glimpses there. And you're absolutely right. I'm not seeing the distinctios because I don't speak that language and don't even know what you're talking about.
