: It definitely wasn't, though I think the updated one in H2 had a few tweaks : to gear it a little more in that direction. Yes, sprint was added. Unfortunately, they didn't think to get a separate power supply for the flashlight until Episode One, I think. Alyx must have done some tinkering when you were not looking. :P Speaking of flashlights, there's a piece of technology I wish we'd see more often in games. All this night vision stuff is for organic wussies. Unless the post-human future has me (or we, or it, or whatever) crawling through air ducts, fighting unknown horrors, as the battery slowly drains, I want no part of it! : The closest thing we know to an actual militarised version of the HEV was the : PCV (Powered Combat Vest) worn by Adrian Shepard and the rest of the HECU. Bingo.
