(General Battuta) Well, I think that school of thought is pretty damn rash--context is everything, and to ignore that context is folly. You won't be saying anything "correct" or plausible if you ditch a boatload of evidence. I think your piece is interesting, but as pointed out, comparing a game to other works is a dangerous road. Cortana exists not because Bungie wanted to point out the folly of man but because they needed a plot dump and constant objective updater for the player character.
