: You don't need the file names. Go to the 1:30 mark in this vid: : "Sgt. Johnson: David Scully". So you're right. He does have a name : in H1, if only in the credits. OK, checked into the game content and there are two relevant textures: characters\marine_armored\bitmaps\marine_arms_johnson characters\marine_armored\bitmaps\face_johnson_sarge So even in the file names, Johnson was named. That would have been determined much earlier than the end credits composition.
