: merely that if a calculation is possible to : determine a speed, a later reference to a maximum speed slower than that : calculation should be avoided. I know, I'm just saying in those particular cases, that if a later max speed slower than that calculation came about, the circumstances of that maximum speed allow a certain amount of wiggle room. Even if they were to release a proper calculation chart like real planes have, one would have to take those figures in the same context as the real charts. A general guideline under assumed 'standard' conditions. Heck, a maximum velocity for a Pelican could easily vary slightly from planet to planet, thanks to atmospheric qualities.
