: I /want/ someone who will turn Halo back into a cohesive universe again. I : want people who will take the apparent contradictions and turn them into : consistencies, without retcons. I want someone who will bring the : mysteries back. So do I-- unfortunately that's no longer an option. As I said the Haloverse now contradicts itself at several different points, the only way to restore complete integrity is to retcon.... Well, they could reboot the franchise, but since we like most of what's already there, a reboot (if 343i is remotely like us) would be extremely similar and a lot of fans and non-fans wouldn't see the point. As I've mentioned before, I'd like them to remake, or start remaking, all the games in 5-15 years or so, and they might as well fix canon while they're at. Barring that I thought of something earlier, what about a re-release of Halo and Halo 2 that work with the current Live structure?
