: I feel the same way. Although I did force myself to suffer through the Halo : Wars campaign just to see the story. Spoiler: The story sucks : It's well done for a console RTS, but still I had no fun whatsoever with it. : The resource management aspect of those games just bores me - and Halo : Wars wasn't even really bad in that regard. I didn't think the story in HW was horrible, but it wasn't some epic tale and I didn't expect it to be. What was really refreshing were the cut scenes. They were absolutley beautiful. For me, it was worth it just for that. I personally feel that the campaign wasn't really meant to be that good. Like most games now a days, its just a primer for MP. HW MP is actually really fun against friends, not so much against AI or randys. Perhaps you me and bones should scrim a game or two against a few other HBOers, that could be fun. The resource thing, I'm a nerd, I liked it ::admits shamefully:: for me its nice to be able to out think someone as well as out play them. In an FPS, its a little harder for me to do.... I think its the lag. Yeah, it must be the Lag. The LAST reason why I will love HW is that it introduced a Spartan II with my name which I rub in my friends faces alllll the time. Also, it makes me feel like a big man.
