By the time you read this, you'll have returned from REFRACTION. I hope you did well out there. I'm shipping out for SALEM tomorrow, and somehow I can't sleep. Too much energy. I'm nervous, to say the least. And you know me, far too chatty for my own good. But I won't go into XYM over text messages with you.

All the other IV's are asleep and I don't feel comfortable talking to the regulars. I vaguely remember what it was like before basic, but it feels like a world away. I don't feel like I have anything in common with those guys anymore. They don't talk right, don't move right, they don't even think right it feels like.
