: Bzzt! Memory overflow again?

: BZZT! PO3 RUDDY TO HIVE CENTRAL CORE. PO3 RUDDY TO HIVE CENTRAL CORE!

: bzzt! She did some fiddling to try and improve my spectrography analysis of
: the star. I'm starting to get irritated. This is memory overflow 247921 in
: the past half-hour. I want to know what she did to cause this. I want to
: know, and I want it fixed. I will update you if it's anything more than a
: simple mistake. I spent three days with my mind in pieces. I don't want to
: spend any more of it like that. You don't need that kind of stress,
: either. Oooh, if I was a more vindictive Seabee, I might sting her!

: bzzt! No, it's not worth the paperwork or the processes to try and figure out
: how a hologram might sting something physical. More than just pushing the
: image of my stinger into her arm. If she put her arm over my holodisplay.

: bzzt! Having my only methods of interaction being non-physical is tough. I'm
: glad I'm programmed not to feel honest anger against humans. Then I might
: really get frustrated.

: bzzt! 2576. I was activated in 2576.

: bzzt! My first duties were to greet everybody (I don't count that one),
: inspect the communications array (mild power issues, but easily rectified
: by myself), inspect all systems for anomalies, to sing Daisy Bell (Some
: sort of tradition, I'm told, very official. Captain Sinclair was very
: pleased.) and to take over all systems that I was to control. Then came
: the orders to perform the shakedown. With the assistance of the crew, we
: left orbit, performed some basic maneuvers, tested out the harness system,
: and finally made a standard jump to slipspace for a seven-month journey.

Just don't stress your yourself too much. Stress is never good for anyone, not even for AIs.

On another note: Can you tell me more about Captain Sinclair? Also, where did the jump take you to?
