I remember : Bungie really wanting to make the player fear the Elites again in Reach... : just never happened. I didn't find them scary at all. Tough yes, scary no. Playing co-op I've heard the proof that they were 'scary' enough, especially sprinting full pelt at you with an energy sword. I'm not a fan of the Elite concept art that's came out though. I prefer what we got in the game, but I still prefer the H2 style above that.
