The : aurora stuff isn't just around Reach, but from the very opening of the : game, the entire Epsilon Eridani star is shrouded in blue nebular clouds, : none of which is detectable from Earth for a nearby star. If this was just : artistic license, someone should have it revoked. If it's a prelude to : something Forerunner created within a 500 year time span from now, it : would be easier to swallow. : I still think most of Reach's campaign should have had the lighting present
I think having the lighting be "normal" was a good choice and for once, an acceptable instance of artistic license. I didn't really like the lighting in The Package at all, and it would've been unbearable to have that in all levels. I know it sounds far-fetched, but could it be possible that Reach's atmosphere and all that bluish fog could change the light of the star somehow? Although making it whiter wouldn't really make any sense at all. Guess things like this don't really need to be rationalized with a bizarre explanation.
