They'd probably have to be habitats and not habitable moons of their own. We know from Jupiter that humans could not survive on the moons there, even if they were habitable as Jupiter's immense radiation belt around itself is slow-cooking the surfaces of those moons, keeping Io particularly volcanic. The so called humans out that way during things like the "Jovian Moons campaign" must be on sealed, radiation-hardened habitats. If our own system's gas giants are typical, easily habitable moons around gas giants would be problematic.
