In Response To: Thoughts on Reach (4K words) (Cody Miller) I agree with many of your points. Unfortunately you brought so many points to the table it's just too much to deal with in one reply. My attention span is too short. I'm not even going to try to deal with much of it. Some of the points I agreed with I also didn't care about because the game is so doggone good. Your article is well written, well intended and based on good observation. Story and plot. I didn't care too much about plot advancement because I'd figured the whole story out in advance anyway. I pretty much nailed it, as did so many others. What I did want from the story was to "care" about my Noble companions. Towards the end I started to but not as much as I had hoped. After one play through, I don't know what happened to Jun. I'll be looking for it as I work my way through Legendary. If it wasn't for marketing I don't know if I would have cared about Noble team at all. The videos, documents and statue have helped me care. I hate to admit it, I wanted to shed a tear. Even with its flaws, this game is so great! I loved Halo 3 and I don't remember feeling this good about it.
