In Response To: Re: Thoughts on Reach (4K words) (bluerunner) : Jorge was the most fleshed out character, and his death was a moving : experience. Truth: Jorge was the best character. Point: It would have been more fun having him there to the end, so that when the mountain finally falls, it's the hardest hit of all. Counterpoint: If his mighty sacrifice was so fully pointless and sad, you sort of realize it's already over. He was the greatest member of the team, and if he's gone...
