63 TJ output = 15.057 Megatons *Math inside*
Posted By: [AMS] GreyThorDate: 8/26/10 11:31 a.m.

: The display on the nuke says "63 terajoule output". Just how much
: is that in megatons?

(63 TJ)*(1E15 Joules)*(1 Mt)/(1 TJ)/(4.184E15 Joules) = 15.057 Mt

Conversions:
1E15 = Tera(whatever)
1 Megaton (Mt) = 4.184 x 10^15 Joules

Following these conversions and canceling out the units (which if in doubt, cancel units to arrive at the correct number!), you arrive at the answer of 15.057 Megatons. That's roughly half of the expected yield of a HAVOK Nuclear Warhead (http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/HAVOK_Nuclear_Warhead).
