: Look at the Davy Crockett, the warhead is of a comparable size to the one in : the trailer and it had a yield equivilent of to 20 tonnes of TNT. It's not : impossible that a comparable device detonated inside a Covenant ship could : do that much damage, more if it damaged the main reactor. You've also got to remember it generates an insane amount of heat, so whilst the initial blast would do a lot of damage, if contained inside shields, the sheer heat alone would be tremendous.
