Maths. May be wrong, I work in Arts and Humanities

: The display on the nuke says "63 terajoule output". Just how much
: is that in megatons?

All this is based on hazy maths memories. If I am wrong please correct me.

1000 terajoules is 1 petajoule, and a megaton of TNT is about 4.184 petajoules.

63/1000 = 0.063 petajoules. 0.063 x 4.184 = 0.263592 megatons. As a megaton is 1 million tons. This is 263592 tonnes of TNT.
