: The display on the nuke says "63 terajoule output". Just how much : is that in megatons? All this is based on hazy maths memories. If I am wrong please correct me. 1000 terajoules is 1 petajoule, and a megaton of TNT is about 4.184 petajoules. 63/1000 = 0.063 petajoules. 0.063 x 4.184 = 0.263592 megatons. As a megaton is 1 million tons. This is 263592 tonnes of TNT. Sources:
