Partial recap of Friday night customs

I managed to get some time to join up with Hyokin and his raggedy crew for some customs Friday night.. and I came prepared.

I had some free time earlier that day to put together a couple minigames.. I wasn't able to test any of these beforehand, so there was mixed success..

First up, a minigame everybody should recognize:


"Hey, why are you guys all standing over there?"


"BLARG!"

It was a change of pace, but certainly not downright fun. So we moved onto another game, Flyin' Flags:


See where I was going with this? You have to ride on top of the hornet to grab the flag

The combination of latency, a forging error that caused teams to respawn at the wrong base and red team's move to hijack all four hornets gave this minigame the thumbs down:

Soo, what's left?

Of course!

Knockin' Zombs!

Knockin' Zombs (which I'll likely rename) shouldn't be described..it should be experienced:

The forge work was sloppy, but this gametype was just fun. It had a really, really great response. I put it in my fileshare if anyone wants this original version--if I get a chance, I might make a revised version for another Friday night customs.. but this and Onslaught are on my Reach 'to Forge list'
