In Response To: Other thoughts? (yakaman) : Nice post. Interested on how you feel about melee, grenades, : "feel", removal of BR, etc? As far as it goes for me, it seems all of those things have lead to a more 'Thinking Man's Halo.' You can't just run into encounters anymore hoping to spam your way to victory. Melee? You've got to time it just right to make sure the shields are down. Grenades? If you think they're overpowered, well, learn to stay the hell out of the way! :P No BR? It's not called the Designated Marksman Rifle for nothing. The patient, calm shooter will have the most success.
