Revisiting Competitive Firefight | |

Previously, I theorized that the use of multiplayer maps in campaign meant possible multiplayer gametypes involving the AI, like one flag CTF vs AI. I didn't realize the Generator Defense (Network Test 1) was capped at 2 player split screen until Wu posted this thread to the front page. I'm even more sure now that there'll be AI of some kind involved in competitive multiplayer because the 2 player split screen cap implies that NT1 is a test of campaign networking implying that if AI were thrown into the mix in Generator Defense, it'd presumably work, atleast in a stabby stabby kind of way. They've kept tight wraps on firefight and I'm super excited to figure out what they've come up with!
