: Dang, it's always been 17 (M) in the States. The only one that wasn't was : Wars 13 (T). : I've been playing Halo since it came out, though I'm still technically too : young for any but Wars. Reach will be the first Bungie game I can buy : without a parent's ID. Funnily enough, Halo Wars is also rated 16+ by PEGI, so its no better off than the other games. There is an exception with Halo 3 in the UK though, since the British release was rated by the BBFC (the same group that rates films here) instead of PEGI, and they gave it a 15 rating. As of this year though, the BBFC will no longer rate any games and the UK will only use the PEGI system. This is good news for the likes of future Gears of War games etc because while BBFC ratings are very firmly part of the law with serious penalties for selling to someone underage, PEGI ratings are just recommendations.
