(Tower) : If you are referring to certain aspects of the Canon in Fall of Reach in : regard to no other Spartans being at the battle of Reach, just think about : how in Fall of Reach humanity had never actually seen the Elites until the : battle of Reach. Yet in Halo Wars and the Cole Protocol humanity knew : about and dealt with Elites. Halo Wars explained that one by (Plot Spoilers) using its own reactor/fusion drive as a bomb, and so limping back towards human systems under sub-light drives, hinting that they never actually made it back before the events in 2552 and 2553, which also explained away the Flood - but there's also the events on Arcadia, which supposedly actually lasted another ten years or so past the invasion events of Halo Wars, and you'd presume that Elites would've been amongst the enemy dead. Oh well, I tried. I was also under the impression that the Spartans in gray team hadn't met Elites prior to the events of the Rubble, but again it begs the question of why they "didn't report this command-class in the Covenant hierarchy" (not that they don't or didn't, but that would be the implication if the mainstream of UNSCDF were unaware of Elites).
