In Response To: Re: Halo: Reach Announcement Trailer Transcript (Stephen L. (SoundEffect)) : I have only heard "Noble-One" in my multiple viewings of the : trailer. Yeah, same here. From my memory of First Strike, I interpreted that Noble 1 was the pelican that the Spartans (green team? red team?) used before they quite literally dropped down to Reach. I also thought that the second Marine voice listed in that transcript was actually that of a co-pilot, maybe referring to the longsword escort. Then again, it's just as likely to be some other chatter. And is it possible that the high level Spartan call-signs refer to squads or fire teams instead of individuals? This, in the same sense that a ship/Starship captain often refers to him/herself as the name of the ship, Sierra 259 would refer to himself as the call-sign for his squad?
