I dont recall there actually : being a canon explanation for Nicole, and if this game takes place during : the fall of Reach, I guarantee there was no other Spartans other then the : first class of Spartan-II's were on Reach at the time of it's attack. If you are referring to certain aspects of the Canon in Fall of Reach in regard to no other Spartans being at the battle of Reach, just think about how in Fall of Reach humanity had never actually seen the Elites until the battle of Reach. Yet in Halo Wars and the Cole Protocol humanity knew about and dealt with Elites.
