: Playing another species went down badly, playing as a woman would undoubtedly : be suicide. Suicide? Do you have any idea how many nerds that play these games play a female blood elf on WoW? Playing a female marine wouldn't be much different and wouldn't bother me, a grunt no less, even in the slightest. However I sincerely doubt that it is a female character simply because, 1. It looks like a dude. 2. Upon watching that trailer for the first ten times in a row I immediately started working out to bring myself one step closer to being buff enough for that particular job. Sure it doesn't exist (yet), but the concept of an ODST has that effect on me. Especially when something that bad ass is in video form and in my face. But yeah definitely a male if we are to base our decision on the video alone.
