: Project ORION is not a Spartan project. It is a Human enhancement program. No
: where did I ever see something even saying "Spartan Is." Which I
: think this "Spartan I" program is something everyone is making
: up.

: It might a precursor, but I would never call it a Spartan program because it
: doesn't use the same ethics.

: I've read all the novels, I've red the graphics novels, heck I have even read
: what we have from the Uprising series, but no where does it even say
: "Spartan Is"

: The concept of a spartan is training someone from a very young age to fight.
: They are trained for a good 20 years. Spartan are also genetically chosen.
: If the child is too weak or sickly they are discarded. Now they added
: something new to the Spartan IIs and that is to add steroids and special
: chemicals to make them faster along with. If you don't have that
: "Trained from a young age" then you don;t have that spartan
: program esque that the other have. Even the Spartan IIIs were grabbed at a
: young age and trained.

: Project ORION seems more like a human genome project. Altering someone enough
: to create a stronger faster human being. Maybe even speed up healing
: process. It's not the same.

: The only Spartan Is that Bungie even mentions at all is referred in Fall of
: Reach when they mention the original Spartans from Ancient Greece. You
: know the ones that battled in Thermopylae lead by Leonidas. The first EVER
: spartan project is the one started by

: According to everyone's logic here. Every main character is a Spartan of some
: type. if anyone can show me a source that specifically says "This is
: the Spartan Is" or makes reference calling it the Spartan Is then I
: will all think that everyone is making it up, because I have seen no
: reference to it. As well, the games are more canon than the books or
: comics.

The conversation between two ONI agents in one of the bonus pages in the HGN mentions that someone is taking an interest in how many "ones" are still active, and that someone might know that Alpha Juliet Juliet (AJJ - Avery Junior Johnson) is a "one", and wonder if this is due to his proximity to one of the "twos (MC).
