possible TGS connections: 'a light in the east' ... is the east 'Asia', ie, Japan, ie TGS? Japan is the 'land of the rising sun' ... the arrow/triangle points to the left towards the Sun ... roughly speaking, Japan is to the left of the states, and, more particularly, to the left of Bungie's location in Kirkland, WA MS's keynote at TGS is @ noon Japan time, which equates to nighttime in the states (largely) .. 'A thief in the night'? .. grasping for meaning, as always ....
