: He would fail to 'remember' the conversation because it hasn't happened for : chief yet! It's in the future of his 'personal time', for Chief, it goes: : 2552 : 2553 : circa 100,000 BC You can't make that make sense no matter how you try. Either the Chief's personal timeline includes H1-H3 as the "past" and post-H3 as his present/future, in which case he will remember the conversations with 343GS as "past" even though they are, from an independent observer's frame of reference, "the future" OR He fails to remember those events because they have not occurred yet in an independent observer's frame of reference. In which case, he also immediately ceases to exist, as 100,000 years before 2553 he hasn't been born yet. : As for not recognising Spark's forerunner form, Didact's (or whoever's)
He doesn't hold a candle to Durandal. Maybe he's more rampant than Leela on a good day.
