I don't mean to rain on your parade, but I think you've made two fundamental errors or assumptions. First, the poem was not by Bungie. It was by a fan. Second, while lots of stuff points to another Halo game, it hasn't been confirmed that the new Halo game is what was going to be announced and was then delayed.
