: Im not so sure he was in slipspace...cortana says the portal closed around : the ship, cutting it in half and leaving it at the ark... besides, it : didn't look like the slipspace descibed in the novels... from what it : looks like, he was left floating through normal space until he arrived : (who knows how much later) at that planet... anyway, im gonna play through : it one more time to find out... He's obviously no longer in slipspace at the end The portal closed while the ship was in slipspace, giving only half of the ship enough time to exit. The stern of the FUD didn't exit at the other side, and simply decelerated until it didn't have the velocity to stay in slipspace (like in First Strike)
