No, I'm saying the Forerunners themselves admit that whatever resources or actions they performed in their war, they concentrated too much on the Mantle, and saving species, instead of killing the Flood. They may have built an 'n' number of Sentinels, but whatever they did, they didn't defeat the Flood with it because their priorites were in such a way to be in accordance with the Mantle.
