Humans, and a bunch of other sentient life, were SAVED. : Also, since the Forerunners were so obsessed with saving life, and not : worrying about themselves... in a way, they did win the war. Saved, barely. Apparently they weren't so obsessed with saving life, or they could've avoided killing all sentient life in the galaxy with my sentinel scheme. ^_^
