But you've got the double unknown of the Flood's capability during the war and the Flood' access to Forerunner technology. This is also compounded by the uncertainty of whether the Flood were attacking Forerunner worlds or worlds controlled by species with inferior tech to the Forerunner. : I'm just saying that the deployment of massive numbers of robot soldiers : against the Flood is inherently logical and useful. But you haven't proved that they would win the war.
