Again, you keep saying that deployig billions of Sentinels would have won the war,w hen we'vee seen sentinel performance against energy weapons like what the forerunner used and what the Flood would have access to, and we don't know what the Flood were like during the Forerunners' time. In other words, you need to prove the Sentinels would win in the first place.

They weren't deploying biological troops against the Flood. The troops defending the planet were already stationed there when it was attacked, and there's no evidence they were Forerunner troops and not the local planetary defense force.
