Remember, Onyx is a : fortress world COMPOSED of Sentinels in the first place. That's just my point. The Forerunners have demonstrated they are able to build enormous armies of sentinels. If they routed enough resources to production of sentinels they could've outnumbered the Flood. : Too bad the worlds the Flood tended to overrun either A) weren't Forerunner : or B) overrun with billions of heavily-armed combat in massive orbital : assaults. ALL worlds were Forerunner, or at least under their jurisdiction, and what do you mean, "Overrun with billions of heavily-armed combat in massive orbital assaults."?
