: Indeed, but flood intelligence is directly purportional to the intelligence : of the infected host. Flood animals would be unable to use guns and would : be confined to land attacks, while the sentinels hover above. Flood birds : would be armed only with their beaks, ineffective against sentinel armor. But we are only thinking of animals we have on Earth, what about the bajillions (I know it's not a real number) of possible animals on other planets, with high-pressure spines that shoot out at stuff, chemical acids and things? (I know this is a little outside of the box but hey? why not? They would be stupid, but so are infection spores! : Not 1 trillion. Trillions plural. At least according to Dr. Halsey. I haven't read the books, so excuse my ignorance on that subject! =D
