We : don't know much about the Spartan I's and what Cortana says in the : Conversations booklet may not apply to them. I think one of the characters : in the I Love Bees (I know that might not be canon) had a parent who was a : Spartan I as well. She's got an SII name and number. The SIs were regular soldiers and most likely kept their names.
