Jeez. Some things don't change here, do they? :-) In any case, it would make her behaviour that much more explicable. She knew about the presence on High Charity all along, the one that had gone about mumbling "I have walked among men and angels...". Not a bad idea, having a super-AI construct on our side for the price of a little self-sacrifice. You've been a little harsh on the old gal, methinks. ;)
