: I see your point. Considering GS is an advanced AI, maybe he dedicated a few : hundred billion CPU cycles to ponder the query, and that is possibly the : "considerable time" he talks about??? Given that the phrases "last time you asked me" and "considerable time" are uttered in such close proximity to each other I think it's logically inescapable that one refers to the other. Since "last time" means the last firing, "considerable time" means the interval since then, regardless of how it's measured or how many CPU cycles it is for Sparks. I'll admit that the entire section is still nonsensical (because nothing new was ever introduced that made sense of it) but it still makes more sense than imagining that this interval means something else.
